This brand-new shepherds hut which takes its name from one of Africa’s largest lakes, transports you to an exotic wilderness far away. Sleeping two adults and two children in king sized beds, it’s designed to offer a relaxing and luxurious escape for families seeking a memorable getaway. With tropical plants and tribal patterns, this shepherd’s hut is as unique as it is enchanting offering an ideal destination where cherished memories are made amidst the splendour of nature.

Outdoor Realms

Hut Tanganyika is a haven for relaxation and recreation. A fire pit is available for cozy evenings under the starlit sky, providing a warm and inviting ambiance. An outdoor BBQ grill allows families to enjoy delicious meals out in nature, fostering a sense of togetherness. The deck is a wonderful spot for morning coffee, leisurely reading, or simply soaking in the tranquil environment. Adjacent to the deck, a charming summer house offers additional undercover space to maximise enjoyment in all weather.

New Inspiration

Location

Perched for perfection, our shepherds hut boasts a prime position with a captivating sunset and idyllic rural panorama. Gazing across the landscape, a tranquil pond reflects the golden hues of the descending sun, creating an enchanting tableau that perfectly complements the rustic charm of our retreat.

Self Built

Embarking on our second shepherds hut, we undertook the challenge of again crafting a bespoke masterpiece entirely of our own design and engineering. With unwavering dedication, we saw our vision come to life over the course of nearly six months, from the crisp days of October 2022 through the unforgiving embrace of winter. Finally, by Spring 2023, we were ready to welcome guests to stay.

Eco Friendly

Sustainability takes center stage with an innovative solar power system that effortlessly energizes the lights, fridge/freezer, and convenient USB sockets, ensuring modern comforts whilst being almost completely off grid. We also encorporate biodegradable products and soaps to help tread lightly on the Earth as everything soaks away into the land. Adding a touch of luxury, our posh composting loo embodies environmental mindfulness, completing the circle of responsible living in our serene retreat
